**Position Summary**

Situated at the heart of our organization, our Procurement and Supply Chain team plays a crucial role in driving profitability, cost efficiency, and generating value. Our team members collaborate closely with business leaders to achieve a balance of cost, inventory, and service excellence. Through Integrated Business Planning and Sales and Operations Execution processes, we ensure smooth operations and alignment across functional areas.

**Responsibilities**
LSCM interns are responsible for assisting with Bridgestone's business goals to strategically source goods and services, decrease lead time, minimize inventory, streamline order fulfillment and reduce cost, as we deliver products that meet our customer's price and scheduling needs and improve our bottom line.
You will also get to:

+ Are highly motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

+ Exhibit strong initiative, work ethic and levels of enthusiasm
+ Demonstrate technical aptitude in major of study
+ Practice excellent communication and presentation skills
**Minimum Qualifications**
To thrive in this role, you need…
+ To be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or another applicable major and actively enrolled in an accredited university the semester prior to your start date
+ To be sophomore-senior level standing
+ To have a minimum 3.0 GP
+ No other work experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know!
