We are looking for a Logistics Team Lead to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Parma, ID.

As a Logistics Team Lead you will coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments, manage and support the Traffic (logistics/exports) department in the Americas, and develop high service standards by optimizing communication and information flow between BASF | Nunhems traffic departments and customers. You will also escalate any concerns regarding Traffic policy application to the Global Head of Logistics.
**As a Logistics Team Lead, you create chemistry by...**
+ Coordinating and monitoring the implementation, execution, application, and maintenance of the Traffic policies, budgets, and procedures.
+ Defining the policy for logistic partners to ensure the product distribution chain is fully maintained for on-time and damage-free deliveries.
+ Aiding in managing the Traffic department budget for transport costs, documents, legalizations, and import duties, including approving all incoming invoices for traffic.
+ Utilizing software to allocate costs to appropriate accounts, cost centers, crops, etc., for timely billing.
+ Managing the workload of the Traffic Department to ensure business needs are met in a timely manner.
+ Developing good working practices with all associated partners by providing clear and concise operating procedures for the Traffic Department and its partners.
**If you...**
+ Possess a high school diploma (required) or a Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
+ Bring 5-10 years of experience in traffic, logistics, supply chain, or a related function.
+ Have 3-5 years of supervisory experience (preferred).
+ Have 2-5 years of experience within an international company (preferred).
+ Showcase the ability to lead and execute Traffic-related projects.
+ Bring knowledge of customer service processes, logistical processes, phytosanitary measures, and country importing requirements (highly preferred).
+ Have supplier management experience (preferred).
+ Are fluent in the English language (bilingual in Spanish is a plus).
+ Are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
