The operators within the Clemson Site must adapt to change safely, quickly, and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality requirements. The Logistics Technician transfers and ships blended resin systems for foam application to meet our customer needs. **During your rotating shift as a Logistics Technician, you will** + Handle the receipts of shipments of Autofroth Cylinders. Transfer of chemical to the necessary shipping containers for shipment to customers. Fill, purge, document, paint and rebuild the fittings on cylinders. Secure cylinders to specialized flatbeds and box vans. + Handle the shipments of drums, totes and cylinders via LTL and truckload quantitates. Have a good knowledge of BOL and shipping paperwork to correctly and safely ship material from the warehouse to the customer location. + Be an integral part of the site’s safety culture. This individual is responsible for certain areas of the plant from a safety and housekeeping perspective. Material Handler B will also be required to master a certain number of standard operating procedure. + Train in Department of Transportation (DOT). This individual also needs to understand hazard communication and DOT/OSHA requirements for chemical transportation, storage, and handling + Understand how to use personal protective equipment to perform all necessary job functions within the process. + Be certified to drive a forklift. **If you...** + Have a High School Diploma (2 Year technical degree preferred) + Possess good communication skills + Pay a high level of attention to detail + Have the ability to lift at least 50lbs. **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
