As a Logistics Technician, your responsibilities include answering phone calls, online chats, and emails from customers interested in renting or buying elevator tooling. You will be responsible for handing miscellaneous orders from the start to finish. Will process orders in the queue, build orders to meet customer’s request, ship to customer by creating the BOL, and key in financial information into the Tool Facility billing system.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will provide support for a variety of Tool Facility customers and office procedures. The position will play a crucial role in record keeping, running reports and keying in financial information to close orders. You may also need to perform other duties as required or assigned.

Place Orders

Handle arrangements for shipment of product and working with Customs

Answer phones providing feedback to customers as requested

Perform data entry to close out orders

Run Monthly Billing reports

Shipping and Receiving duties

Financial record keeping

Uses inventory control system

Runs/Communicates reports to field offices

Ability to learn products, multiple systems and customer portals

Maintain accurate work Instructions as customer requirements or processes change

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or preferred associate degree in accounting, business, finance or Customer Relationship Management

Have general automotive/elevator parts knowledge

Have good organizational skills

Maintain a positive and professional demeanor

Ability to handle complaints regarding unpleasant situations or conflicts

Ability to multi-task with attention to detail

Proficiency in Microsoft Database, Excel, IOS
