**Job Title: Logistics Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a Logistics Technician who is willing to be trained on driving a box van and 26-foot truck to local customer sites as needed. The role involves unpacking and placing parts on carts for movement into Production, shelving parts with orders as they are completed, and packing and labeling complete orders for delivery. Adherence to all policies and procedures, including Work Instructions and SOP’s, is essential. The candidate must successfully pass and maintain a clean Oregon DMV driving record and be prepared for local customer delivery as needed. Cross-training to cover other areas, contacting customers to arrange pickups and deliveries, and handling special projects are also part of the job responsibilities. **Responsibilities** + Drive a box van and 26-foot truck to local customer sites as needed. + Unpack and place parts on carts for movement into Production. + Shelve parts with orders as they are completed. + Pack and label complete orders for delivery. + Adhere to all policies and procedures including Work Instructions and SOP’s. + Maintain a clean Oregon DMV driving record. + Deliver to local customers as needed. + Cross-train to cover other areas when needed. + Contact customers to arrange pickups and deliveries. + Handle special projects outside of the scope of normal Logistics duties. + Monitor open orders in MRP to plan assembly and report delays to ensure on-time delivery. + Communicate with Production Staff to find the cause of delays. + Compile and create outgoing paperwork. + Load boxes or cases securely into vehicles for transport. + Perform general warehouse duties. + Keep work areas clean with a focus on continuous 5S improvement. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Logistics + Inventory + Data entry + Shipping and receiving + Material handling + Delivery driving - must have a valid license and pass MVR + General labor + RF scanner operation + Loading + Transportation **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No forklift certification required. **Why Work Here?** Join a great company with long-term opportunities in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility with lots of growth potential.
