Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Logistics Technology Officer to drive the digital transformation of our logistics processes through IT solutions. This role will focus on developing, implementing, and optimizing digital tools and automation systems to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT solutions, preferably for logistics and supply chain domains, excellent communication skills, and a continuous learning mindset to keep up with industry advancements.
Main responsibilities include:
Develop and implement digital solutions for logistics and supply chain operations, enhancing efficiency and process automation. Manage updates, integrations, and troubleshooting issues related to logistics digitalization projects. Utilize data analytics and automation tools to improve logistics visibility, tracking, and forecasting. Implement emerging technologies (e.g., stochastic optimization, reinforcement learning) in logistics operations. Ensure smooth user adoption by maintaining clear and coherent technical documents. Stay updated with industry trends and continuously improve processes through innovative initiatives.QualificationsMandatory:
Degrees in IT/Data, Digital Supply Chain Management or related fields. 1-3 years of experience in IT solution developments (e.g., data pipeline establishment, automation tools, tabular data manipulation) using Python and SQL. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab, Docker) and technical documentation. Fluency in English.Nice-to-haves:
Experience in supply chain domains. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP) and big data warehouses (e.g., backend data extraction using SQL). Proficiency in data science (concepts, languages, libraries). Knowledge concerning supply chain data science is a plus. Proficiency in Typescript, Javascript.
