Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator (Exports Focus) will be responsible for managing and coordinating all export-related logistics activities. This role requires a strong background in logistics, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing export operations and ensuring compliance with international regulations.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee all export-related logistics activities, including documentation, transportation, and customs clearance.Ensure compliance with international regulations and company policies for all export shipments.Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to arrange and monitor shipments.Prepare and maintain accurate export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, production, and customer service, to ensure smooth and efficient export operations.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to export shipments.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on export operations.Strong understanding of international trade regulations and export documentation requirements.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and logistics software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and external partners.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.Additional Skills & QualificationsCustomer service experience.Knowledge of Spanish.Experience with Magaya logistics software.Work Environment
The Logistics Coordinator will work in an office setting from Monday to Friday, with an 8-hour shift between 7am and 6pm.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $28.85/hr.
