The Opportunity

CSL is a leading global biotechnology company with a dynamic portfolio of life-saving medicines, including those that treat haemophilia and immune deficiencies, as well as vaccines to prevent influenza.

In addition to contributing to Australia's export economy, CSL has invested and continues to invest in substantial new Logistic Hub facilities that will support our global strategy and provide the network with crucial supply of product sourced from our Melbourne facility.

We are inviting expressions of interest for future opportunities as Logistics/Warehouse Operator to join our team at the Broadmeadows site. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operational requirements of the Logistics Hub to meet both internal and external customer requirements.

Your role will involve regular manual handling, prolonged periods of standing, and repetitive physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and performing routine motions throughout the shift. The role may encompass morning and/or afternoon and involve overtime/weekend work. You may be required to work inside the -28°C OR -40°C freezer.

The Role

Foster a customer focused, goal-oriented culture within the Warehouse and Logistics Hub.Ensure warehouse and distribution activities are cGMP, GDP and GWP compliant.Maintain and update accurate inventory records in the Inventory Management System.Ensure accurate and timely storage of all deliveries onto the site for raw materials, direct purchases, Plasma and Paste.Ensure that the warehouse and external yard are kept clean and in a safe state following all warehouse OH&S requirements.Ensure correct storage and handling for dangerous goods and poisons.Participate in continuous improvement activities within the department.

Your Skills and Experience

Completed a Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) or equivalent.Demonstrated distribution and warehousing experience preferably in a manufacturing or related environment.Knowledge of cGMP, GDP and GWP in a warehouse environment.Good knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP Systems) would be highly regarded.Computer skills including the use of Inventory Management Systems, MS Word and MS Excel.Forklift operator's license preferrable.
