SWBC is seeking a talented individual to process loss draft checks to ensure payment corrections are made prior to finalizing checks, checks are paired with the appropriate documentation in accordance with the workflow process, check and voucher reports are accurately prepared and submitted daily to the client, and pertinent insurance data is current and accurately maintained within the department database system.

Essential duties include the following:
Makes necessary corrections/dispositions to checks via the SharePoint database for checks and mailroom to include contacting insurance carriers to verify and update insurance coverage and to obtain the insurance estimate.
Researches reason for returned checks.
Prepares and prints out register and voucher disbursements reports.
Voids check and requests any necessary reissues to include sends voided checks to be destroyed and/or back to the insurance carrier.
Researches and completes emails received with request for information pertaining to processing checks.
Sends deposit log and the disbursements requests register to the client on a daily basis.
Combines checks with appropriate shipping labels and corresponding letters.
Enters notes and reconciles the Approved for Overnight spreadsheet within the SharePoint database system for all checks that are needed to be overnighted.
Serious candidates will possess the minimum qualifications:
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years in document and check processing, packaging/shipping, or related experience, preferably in the insurance, mortgage, or banking industries.
Basic understanding of accounts payable, reconciliation, and voucher processing.
Basic mathematical aptitude to reconcile draft check logs and/or spreadsheets.
Strong research capabilities and follow-up skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills.
Working knowledge of general office equipment to include accurate keyboard skills in utilizing computer applications such as MS Word, Excel Internet, SharePoint, and AS400.
Able to follow directions and apply established procedures.
Able to work a flexible schedule.
Able to sit for long periods of time while entering data or performing other sedentary duties.
Able to lift 10 – 20 lbs. of packages, files, reports, or other documents/manuals.
