Loss Prevention Assistant Supervisor

Assists in Loss Prevention activities within the Distribution Center by supporting the department’s objectives. Duties include, but not limited to scheduling, supervision and training of staff, physical security, reports policy and procedure violations to leadership, internal theft investigation, monitoring processes, compliance auditing, data entry, documentation and Gatehouse operations.

Shift may vary depending on business needs. Late swing and graveyard shift required.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for the supervision of the Distribution Center Loss Prevention associatesResponsible to schedule Distribution Center Loss Prevention associatesActs as main contact for store inquiries and communicationResponsible to train the Distribution Center Loss Prevention associatesAbility to act as the lead Loss Prevention associate on duty, in the event the Loss Prevention Manager is not presentActs as the liaison between Distribution Center and Loss PreventionVerifies accuracy of data entry of Distribution Center Loss Prevention associatesAssists in the protection of all Kohl’s assets, to include physical assets (facility, machinery and property), human assets (Kohl’s associates and visitors), and profit assets (merchandise)Partnering with Distribution Center Loss Prevention Managers, and Facilities Management, to professionally monitor physical security policies and procedures of Kohl’s Department Stores and the Distribution CenterReports incidents of associate theft or safety violations to the Distribution Center Loss Prevention ManagerParticipates in internal theft investigations, in strict adherence to Kohl's Loss Prevention internal theft investigation and confidentiality guidelinesMonitors all Kohl’s Department Stores/Distribution Center Safety policies and procedures and actively participates in the Distribution Center Safety CommitteePerforms Distribution Center Loss Prevention Audits to measure Distribution Center AccuracyReport production fraud, or “short-cuts” by associates, to DC Loss Prevention ManagerDemonstrate proficiency and train Distribution Center Loss Prevention associates in all processes of the Distribution CenterMonitors associates (via the floor and CCTV) to ensure compliance to processing guidelinesData entry of all audit results and assigned informationPerform all Gatehouse operations and Gatehouse data entry, as described in the Gatehouse section of the Distribution Center Loss Prevention ManualPoint person on special projects and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

REQUIRED

Basic math, computer operations, reading skills, legible handwriting and good verbal and written communication skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent and/or previous Distribution Center, Law Enforcement and/or Store Loss Prevention experienceRegular and prompt attendance

PREFERRED

Auditing experienceWorking knowledge of software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and PeopleSoft

Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.70
