Loss Prevention Associate

Job Description:

TTI Power Equipment, has an opening in its Anderson, SC distribution facility for a Loss Prevention Associate that will implement daily security policies and procedures while insuring all TTI assets are protected to the best of their abilities. An ideal candidate will have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and must give evidence of both. They will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills as well as a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to life safety and assets. Primary Responsibilities

Ensure standing orders are consistently implementedParticipate in all training held for officers or designated individualsActs as part of the emergency response teamAccurately document and record vehicles that enter on propertyAccurately document and record persons that enter the facilityParticipate in unannounced and planned inspections as directedPatrol parking lots for proper parking and issues notices as needed for parking, liter and other violationsAssist in investigations of any issues, such as violations, theft, disturbance on site etc. as directedAssist in review of camera footage and other means necessary involving incidents, theft, etc. as directedAssist in developing policies and procedures as directedMaintain positive working relationships with peers, co-workers, supervisors, and local lawInvestigate security breaches as directed

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experienceGood reading and writing skills is a mustAdditional coursework and training in security administration or similar field will be an assetAbility to a 12-hour overnight shift schedule including weekends and holidays

Knowledge and Experience

Completion of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy 12-week basic curriculum or an equivalent CALEA accredited curriculum is desirableProven experience as a Loss Prevention Associate is preferredExperience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV, access control programs)Experience in emergency response activitiesGeneral knowledge of security protocols and proceduresA basic proficiency with computer hardware and softwareDocumented communication and interpersonal skillsGood organizational skillsCommitted and reliableAttention to details is a must
