The Loss Prevention Department at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom provides students with an excellent opportunity to receive first-hand training and experience in loss control, intelligence gathering, and field investigations. Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 or olderHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredMust be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of timeMust be able to lift and carry 15 pounds with or without accommodationsFor safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English languageAbility to actively communicate with large groups of GuestsBe available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelinesAvailable to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysMust pass a background screeningCurrently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Accounting, or Pre-Law; Retired law enforcement welcome.Must have strong verbal and written skillsSolid organizational skillsMust be able to work indoors with artificial lighting and outdoors in all weather conditionsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Requires training and certification as a field agent (Review of Manual, online testing, Physical Training)
