Job Duties:

Other Functions:

The Loss Prevention Department at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom provides students with an excellent opportunity to receive first-hand training and experience in loss control, intelligence gathering, and field investigations. Agents work in several areas that include research, auditing, surveillance units, and interviewing. While this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the job, management reserves the right to add or remove duties when circumstances (e.g., emergencies, changes in workload, rush jobs, or technological developments) dictate.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be 18 or olderHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredCurrently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice, Accounting, or Pre-Law preferred; Retired law enforcement welcome.Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of timeMust be able to lift and carry 15 pounds with or without accommodationsFor safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English languageMust possess above average communication skills with the ability to actively communicate with large groupsMust react well in stressful and emergency situations.Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelinesAvailable evenings, nights, weekends, and holidaysMust pass a background screeningGood math skillsMust be able to multitaskMust have strong verbal and written skillsSolid organizational skillsMust be able to work indoors with artificial lighting and outdoors in all weather conditionsRequires training and certification as an investigator (Review of manual & online testing)Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel)
