Loss Prevention Support Engineer
Job Description SKILLS REQUIRED  Troubleshooting and staging experience with servers, desktops, cameras, and network equipment.  Experience with system integration and APIs.  Proficiency in Servers, RAID configurations, disk arrays, and Windows and Linux (Ubuntu) system administration  Security mind set in handling access, data and communications  Strong communication skills and the ability to lead Zoom/Teams meetings.  Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a sense of urgency.  Diplomacy, tact, and professionalism under pressure.  Highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, takes ownership of issues, and enjoys bringing them to a successful conclusion.  Process-oriented with the ability to identify and improve processes.  Demonstrated customer service skills, including examples of transforming challenging customer situations into positive experiences.  Experience with inventory control management, including auditing, tracking, and inventory order placements.  Experience with Active Directory, sccm, powershell, ansible, bash, python, API and camera systems is a plus.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.  Relevant certifications in IT support, security, or loss prevention are a plus. Skills and Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES  System Maintenance and Upgrades: o Conduct regular maintenance and updates on loss prevention systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. o Troubleshoot issues related to loss prevention systems, including OS, software, camera related issues. o Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system upgrades, repairs, and installations. o Ensure compliance of loss prevention systems with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. o Implement and enforce security protocols to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. o Stay informed on the latest developments and best practices in loss prevention technologies and systems. o Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of loss prevention systems, including the creation and maintenance of images, staging artifacts, centralized management and device validation procedures.  Vendor Management & Support o Collaborate with support teams, including Help Desk, District Representatives, Fraud Team, Engineering, and Vendor Partners, to diagnose and resolve issues related to loss prevention systems such as cameras, servers, desktops, and alarms. o Communicate and work with business partners to resolve issues. o Respond to inquiries via service tickets, chat, and email within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and track cases. o Utilize critical-thinking skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues. o Identify challenges and propose ideas to improve processes. o Assess vulnerabilities in systems and processes. o Follow company protocols. o Work efficiently to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction. o Update and provide feedback on existing documentation and current best practices. o Monitor alerts and respond to rectify issues. o Perform regular maintenance and updates on loss prevention systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. o Coordinate with vendors and service providers for system upgrades, repairs, and installations. o Train end-users on the proper use of loss prevention systems and technologies. o Provide ongoing support and assistance to users, addressing any questions or concerns related to loss prevention systems. o Generate reports and provide insights to management on loss prevention activities and system performance. o Ensure compliance of loss prevention systems with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
