The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as a Lot Attendant located at our Linden location. 

 

The lot driver is responsible for moving and positioning vehicles to various designated locations between our properties for servicing, transport and/or rental. A driver will perform all daily responsibilities with a focus on the needs to have vehicles ready for customers in accordance with our high-quality standards.

 

The starting rate of pay is $17.50 / hour. Employees can earn yearly merit increases based on performance.

 

The position is located at 1100 W Blancke St Linden, NJ 07036.

Responsibilities Check in vehiclesAssist with reconditioning of vehicles and foster vendor relationshipsVerify and walk sold units to meet condition standards set by sales team prior to delivering vehicles to dealershipsAnswer questions and provide guidance to less experienced Drivers; act as liaison with outside vendors on site to ensure smooth operationsDrive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the roadAssist Logistics team with transportation preparation of sold units to the end-buying dealership and deliver customers and vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous mannerAssist in the vehicle deletion and work with PDR vendorsNotify Manager of any customer or vehicle problems including daily maintenance, including but not limited to ensuring proper oil, tire and fluid levels and conduct pre-delivery inspections for new vehiclesEnsure proper fuel tank level and fill with gasoline, if needed and organize lot in a safe and efficient mannerComplete paperwork associated with pick-up and delivery of vehicles and assist with reconciliation of new and used vehicle inventoryOrganize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timelyInstall and remove license plates, track plate inventory, review and prepare repurchase units for turn-in
