Lounge Host, Miami Design District

Position Overview 

The Lounge Host’s mission is to create exceptional client experiences by offering and delivering exceptional hospitality service in the industry and upholding the Tiffany Cultural Values. 

Key Accountabilities 

Create and coordinate exceptional client experiences & hospitality:

Deliver exceptional attention to the client upon the start of their Tiffany journey and ensure outstanding hospitality throughout their visit Anticipate clients’ needs by learning their preferences and partnering with client advisors to serve food and beverages choices based on client’s preferences. Prepare and serve petits fours, hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, and specialty beverages Manage and maintain bar/lounge inventory. Supervise any non-permanent waitstaff, as needed. Describe menu items to clients/guests, taking orders and servicing them.  Supervise operationally the areas dedicated to hospitality. Ensure permanent readiness of these spaces, equipment and supplies to accommodate with any unexpected request. Help to place orders, receive, and distribute necessary supplies Assist the team with various activities to facilitate seamless and elevated client experiences during appointments Perform all duties with discretion, professionalism, and a pleasant demeanor

Optimize The Environment

Responsible for the general upkeep and appearance of the store hospitality related aspects and areas with Hospitality Coordinator Coordinate hospitality supply inventory including replenishment needs, order processing, and optimal storage organization Effectively communicate and take initiative when cleaning is required, before and after selling appointments Maintain a clean and organized hospitality areas  Clean and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment, service and seating areas. Keep up-to-date on all safety and hygiene policies. Assist with special projects and events as needed

Develop Industry And Knowledge

Develop understanding and knowledge of the store and products to convey Tiffany heritage and values Engage clients through ability to story tell and share key facts and historical/brand focused stories Understand and comply with security and operational procedures Remain current on all industry news and the local/global competition to effectively coordinate boutique business Share and collaborate best practices

Qualifications 

Required

Industry Experience

At least two years of experience as a bartender, waiter or similar role in the hospitality industry Previous experience in luxury retail or service industry is a plus

Technical Skills & Abilities

Excellent computer skills and use of technology Additional language skills are a plus.

Personal Skills

Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills Strong understanding and commitment for highest client service standards and priorities Ability to work retail store hours as necessary, including nights, weekends and holidays. Ability to travel for special events and trainings as needed Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment Organized and detail oriented Flexibility to perform different tasks based on day-to-day business needs. Experience in luxury hospitality industries; restaurant, hotel, retail, security Ability to work with VIP Clients Organizational and time management skills Entrepreneurial, flexible and independent Possess strong commitment to fostering a team environment and collaboration Strong sense of urgency Must have authorization to work in the United States or in the country where the position is based Ability to handle sensitive matters with efficiency and discretion Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills are required

Preferred

Preferred associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hotel management
