Description We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team in Palm Springs, California. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing building-automation-system field cabinets, maintaining regular system backups, and assisting senior level technicians. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot and repair building-automation-system field cabinets, including communication devices, printed circuit boards, power supplies, electrical/electronic controls, sensors, and transducers • Assist with maintaining regular system backups during projects • Communicate proactively with technical issues to senior level technicians • Assist more senior level technicians in the startup of systems and equipment • Maintain company tools, test equipment, material, and company vehicle(s) • Create daily reports and submit to the project team and supervisor • Support a culture based on open/honest dialogue and involvement with all team members that demonstrates the value of their input and engagement in improving performance • Identify issues and make minor program and graphic changes • Execute Graphic and Program modifications • Provide information and support to other contractors of project site.
