**Job Title: Low Voltage Installer** **Job Description** Travel to client sites to perform testing, configuration, installation, and preventative maintenance on commercial and detention-grade locks, access control, intercommunications, and video surveillance systems. Service and troubleshoot low voltage and electro-mechanical systems. **Responsibilities** + Travel to and work at client sites + Perform testing, configuration, installation, and preventative maintenance + Service and troubleshoot low voltage and electro-mechanical systems + Climb ladders and lift objects over 50lbs + Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams + Use electronics, circuits, relays, and low voltage systems + Operate personal computers, including Microsoft Office applications + Configure and program surveillance and card access systems, PLCs, ladder logic programming, and HMI applications + Communicate effectively in written and verbal forms + Travel overnight to remote locations as needed **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined and organized + Results-oriented with a track record of working efficiently + Ability to work with limited supervision + Ability to see and identify colors + Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record + Proficiency in electronics, circuits, relays, and low voltage systems + Experience with Microsoft Office applications + Strong interest and aptitude in software configuration and programming **Work Environment** You will be working indoors on government, commercial, and industrial projects. The dress code is work casual, including jeans or khakis, company-provided work t-shirts, and composite toe boots or shoes. Standard working hours are from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with an average of 5 hours of overtime weekly. Specific tools will be provided as needed. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
