Job Description
We are looking for a Technician to install, troubleshoot, and maintain products and equipment, including turnstiles and other electrical equipment on a Navy Base. You will determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs. Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures is essential. Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and associated electronic components is a plus.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, troubleshoot, and maintain products and equipment.Install turnstiles and other electrical equipment on a Navy Base.Determine and recommend the best products or services for customers' needs.Plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment.Work independently and under pressure.Communicate effectively and provide detailed daily written reports.Work on products including alarms, security cameras, intrusion detection, access control, gates, giant voice, and vehicle barriers.Perform daily documentation and reporting.Pull wire, bend conduit, and use hand and power tools.Assist with general labor tasks and mechanical work.Essential SkillsExperience in light construction (1-2 years).Ability to pull wire, pull cable, and turn a wrench.Basic knowledge of power and hand tools.Ability to bend conduit.Experience with low voltage work.Ability to obtain DBIDS.Ability to work alone or as part of a team.Effective communication skills.Experience with volt meters, blueprints, schematics, and installation.Additional Skills & QualificationsMilitary experience is a plus but not required.Mechanical inclination.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work primarily in Seal Beach for 3-6 months, then transition to San Diego or other project locations. The role involves working 100% outside, mainly on military and naval bases, installing turnstiles and barrier ways.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00
