**Job Title: Low Voltage Technician (Service)**
**Job Description**
We are seeking two experienced low voltage technicians to perform low voltage electrical installations at Riverside Medical Center and potentially at NN City Center. The main responsibilities include access control installations and security camera installations. The ideal candidate should be DCJS certified or willing to become certified.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform low voltage electrical installations at Riverside Medical Center
+ Install and troubleshoot access control systems, including card readers and connecting locks
+ Install and maintain security camera systems
+ Provide excellent customer service and interact professionally with clients
+ Work independently and stay on task
+ Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
**Essential Skills**
+ DCJS certification or willingness to become certified
+ Experience with access control systems
+ Low voltage electrical experience
+ Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
+ Strong customer service skills
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of construction experience
+ 2+ years experience pulling wire, installing and terminating CAT 5/6 cables
+ Experience using multi-meters
+ Experience with commercial or marine projects

**Work Environment**
Work hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with minimal overtime expected. Technicians will meet at job sites and must present themselves professionally, particularly when working at Riverside Medical Center. Reliable transportation is required.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, Virginia.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr.
