Seeking a low voltage technician!

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage electrical systems like security alarms, fire alarms, CCTV cameras, network infrastructure, and audio/visual equipment, which typically operate under 50 volts, by running cables, testing systems for functionality, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards while providing customer support and system usage education; essentially focusing on the installation and maintenance of communication and data systems within buildings. 

Required skills and knowledge:

Understanding of low voltage electrical systems, including wiring practices, cable types, and termination techniques 

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics 

Proficiency with hand tools and testing equipment used for low voltage systems 

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 

Excellent communication and customer service skills 

Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and data cabling may be required depending on the role 

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
