We have an exciting opportunity for Five (5) Low Voltage Technicians with commissioning and installing Electrical Power Distribution Switch Boards, Control and Protection Systems experience in Underground Mining Projects. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Project Bill of Quantities Compiling and Cost Estimating. Undertaking testing and configuration of Medium and High Voltage Protection Relays, Protection Grading Schemes Calculation and Testing. Variable Speed Drives and Soft Starter; Protection and Control Configurations. Supporting Client on Breakdowns and Electrical Systems Modelling. Pulling and termination of power and control cables for electrical motors. Carrying out installations and commissioning of electrical and equipment. Installation of power backup systems (generators and UPS’s) Panel wiring of substation and MCC equipment and its related switchgear. Installation of lighting and backup systems.
Experience and Qualifications: Accredited Trade Test, N6 Diploma. Extensive mining study & execution project experience. Underground Mining EPCM project experience required.
