Global Sales Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop, implement, and manage the account strategy that is focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Each day, you will coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage the resolution of specific customer problems. You will also showcase your expertise by giving input on market price developments and tendencies.While this is a full remote position, successful candidates will be located in the Atlanta, GA, Charlotte, NC or Cary, NC metro areas. This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings division. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tImplementing both short-term and long-term sales targets and strategies for the account and ensuring their achievement through a structured follow-up process across divisions and countries.•\tCreating added value for the customer and ABB by ensuring a coordinated sales approach (e.g., frame agreements, sales planning, and issue resolution).•\tMonitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented.•\tBuilding long lasting customer relationships and managing the resolution of their specific needs/issues.Our team dynamics:You will join a dynamic, high-growth team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role

\tBachelor’s degree strongly preferred\t8+ years of experience selling to major retailers, preferably residential electrical products. \tDemonstrated leadership, relationship building skills, strong presentation and communication skills\tAbility to successfully negotiate contracts, and effective in negotiation and problem resolu-tion.\tExperience with CRM applications, preferably Salesforce\tHighly motivated and able to work under own initiative; self-starter and collaborate within multiple teams\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills. English is a must
