What you will be doing 

Albertson's Companies is looking for people who are interested in re-imagining the grocery experience by harnessing the power of member loyalty with best-in-class partners. The Loyalty Analyst, Partner Program will be responsible for supporting the management of Fortune 500 and niche partners including the day-to-day account management, quarterly business reviews, execution of a multi mullion dollar co-funded partner marketing budgets, and escalation of issues to appropriate teams and tracking resolution. Cross-functional collaboration across multiple internal teams (loyalty, product, divisions, accounting, and marketing) is imperative to define goals for the partnership and drive impact. Loyalty partnerships will serve as differentiated customer/member offering, creating brand awareness, growing loyalty program acquisition, digital engagement, sales and lifetime value through superior partnerships and associated marketing executions. Overall, this person will serve as a key representative, advocating for the loyalty program and our partners across Albertsons. 

The position will be based in Pleasanton or one of our main regional offices (Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, Boise ID, Dallas TX, Chicago, IL, or Fullerton, CA, or Phoenix, AZ). 10% travel is required.  

Main responsibilities 

Manage day to day interaction with partners including marketing requests, troubleshooting issues as they come up, and pitching new opportunities to grow the program.  Manage multi-million-dollar co-funded marketing program including agency management, budgeting and partner approvals.  Create reports and presentations including Quarterly Partner Review presentations that highlight key business indicators and performance.  Develop strong relationships with both internal and external teams to execute needle moving new ideas.    Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to support strategic projects and measure marketing effectiveness  Communicate business performance in a clear and insightful way to the business to facilitate timely and informed decision making.  Contribute to the overall development of strategic partnership plans for current and potential loyalty partners.  Support loyalty partnership development plans, and process improvements for the team. 

The salary range is $63,000 to $82,000 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility.  

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: 

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience  Minimum 3 years working experience in Account Management, Loyalty Partner Marketing, or Marketing   Highly analytical, strategic, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to excellence and a passion for understanding the business implications of analytical results.  Proficient in using Excel, and PowerPoint for data manipulation, analysis, and charting.  Experience with a Loyalty fuel reward program preferred.  Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building long term relationships and the resolve and skill to turn a “no” into a “maybe” into a “yes.”  Have a result-oriented approach, ability to problem solve and work efficiently within deadlines, and comfort with ambiguity.  Ability to frame problems, use data to simplify and quantify impact, evaluate implications, and communicate insights.   Flexible self-starter who flourishes in a dynamic, matrixed environment; must be able to work with minimal direction and be highly collaborative
