LP Inventory Auditor

Be a part of helping others to Live Well! **Job Description** This role would involve leading and executing physical inventories at Corporate, Franchise, and conversion locations within an assigned geographic region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, exception problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently while directing others. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Maintains the accuracy of the physical inventory. + Uses a scan gun and moves merchandise as needed in order to obtain information. + Manage all aspects of physical inventory, including utilization of inventory management software, to identify discrepancies between physical counts and physical stock, providing accurate store on hands. + Lead on-site inventory teams, including store manager or franchisee, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of the physical inventory. Assist in training, guidance and support as necessary. + Monitor and maintain shrink control measures during inventory counts. + Monitor inventory procedures to ensure all appropriate documentation at store level is completed and submitted. + Conduct detailed operational and procedural audits and report discrepancies. + Maintain proper record keeping and maintenance of inventory related documents and equipment per Loss Prevention standards. + Coordinate the monthly physical inventory schedule with the Physical Inventory Manager per departmental guidelines. + Assist in identifying discrepancies, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions as directed by GNC and the LP Inventory Manager + Additional duties as assigned. **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:** + This job has no supervisory responsibilities. **PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:** (For all JDs; Adjust as needed based on job requirements) + Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. + Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. + Regularly/Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals. + The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate. _* Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions._ **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience enough to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required. + 2+ years progressive experience required. + Loss Prevention Auditing experience + High proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel + Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning) + Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts + Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients. + Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. + Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management. + Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. + Ability to work overtime as necessary. + Must have current driver’s license. **Benefit Offerings** Benefit Offerings: Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Paid Company Life Insurance, 401K program with company match, 30% employee merchandise discount on GNC products & 20% employee discount on 3rd party products, Monthly Free Product Offers, and access to the Employee Assistance Program.
