LPI/LPD RF Engineer

KBR is seeking a highly qualified LPI/LPD RF Engineer to provide support for the NRO Mission Operations Directorate (MOD). MOD operates, maintains, and reports the status of intelligence satellites and their associated ground systems, provides defensive space control and space protection, monitors satellite flight safety, and provides space situational awareness. This effort includes support to innovation labs developing new tools, models, and algorithms to operate and exploit satellite space and ground systems.

As a LPI/LPD RF Waveform and Propagation Engineer, you have the expertise and experience in developing prototype solutions and algorithms for low probability of detection (LPD) / low probability of intercept (LPI) waveforms.  This includes knowledge of F test equipment and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

3-5 years of expertise and experience with low probability of detection (LPD) / low probability of intercept (LPI) waveformsAbility to operate RF test equipment and develop and execute test procedures.Active TS/SCI with CI polygraphBachelor’s degree in STEM or related quantitative science field

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in engineering or related quantitative science field Experience leading teams resulting in successful verification and test strategies/solutions for complex programsExperience with cloud development processesExperience with industry system engineering practicesStrong interpersonal skills in order to influence, collaborate and work effectively with all levels of internal and external leadershipKnowledge of NRO Mission Operations Directorate
