Licensed Practical Nurse Seymour, TN - Primary Care Clinic - Half day Friday! ✮ Job Description ✮ We are looking for a dedicated LPN to assist our healthcare provider throughout the clinic. This role involves a variety of patient care duties, including lab draws, RX verification, appointment follow-up, and occasional scheduling. You will also be responsible for maintaining patient charts, coordinating appointments, and assisting with patient-related matters over the phone. ✮ Responsibilities ✮ + Primarily responsible for lab draws for all patients + Serve patients over the phone with RX verification and appointment follow-up + Occasional scheduling tasks + Prepare and maintain patient charts including insurance, registration, correspondence, laboratory and radiology reports + Track and request patient records, slides, and films; document as necessary in the charts + Schedule and coordinate appointments, scans, and tests; confirm appointments; notify appropriate departments of daily and weekly patient schedules + Receive incoming calls to assist patients, physicians, and others with patient-related matters + Relay diagnostic test results to patients per physician's discretion + Conduct follow-up phone calls to patients with problems and 'no-shows' + Perform BP, TPR, and weight measurements on each patient; alert physician of abnormalities + Perform medical history on each patient prior to being seen by physician + Maintain medical supplies in each exam room and office supplies in clerical areas ✮ Skills & Qualifications ✮ + Tennessee LPN License + Strong organizational skills + Excellent communication abilities + Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks + Experience with patient scheduling and medical record maintenance ✮ Shift ✮ Monday - Thursday / 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday / 8:00am - 12:00pm About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
