13 Week Contract | Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Job Description

Provides safe and effective delivery of uncomplicated clinical services and tasks under the direction and continuous supervision of a licensed healthcare provider. Facilitates the visit process by providing appropriate clinical and non-clinical information. Maintains sterility and cleanliness of the environment, as well as supplies, equipment, and instruments. Supports and performs clerical functions as needed and performs other duties as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesProvide safe and effective delivery of uncomplicated clinical services and tasks under supervision.Facilitate the visit process by providing appropriate clinical and non-clinical information.Maintain sterility and cleanliness of the environment, including supplies, equipment, and instruments.Support and perform clerical functions as needed.Take vitals, height, weight, lab draws, and cheek swabs.Answer phones and portal messages and respond in a timely manner.Make appointments for patients and work on authorizations.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsCurrent Virginia state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Compact State licenseExperience with electronic health records and electronic medical recordsAdditional Skills & QualificationsPediatric experience requiredNeurology experience preferredExperience in triageWork Environment

The position is based in the Neurology Department. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, Monday to Thursday, and a rotating late shift on Fridays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The LPN must be flexible and willing to be part of a team, with travel to an offsite location twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays). Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
