Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne, Indiana is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in our Advanced Cardiac Therapy (ACT) Med Surg to join our team! 

Our Lutheran Hospital Advanced Cardiac Therapy department has a total of 24 beds. This is a medical surgical telemetry unit with a medium to high acuity patient level. The primary focus is on symptoms of heart failure, pace makers, defibrillators, patient education, along with post cardiac cath or post stint patients, employing electrocardiograms and various measuring devices to monitor vital signs and heart rhythms closely. To be successful in this unit, you must be compassionate, confident, able to adapt quickly, have critical thinking skills to assess patient need, and be a strong team player.

Requirements and qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited LPN programValid Indiana LPN license BLS within 90 days from hireAdditional certifications completed within 90 days – 6 months from hire
