Job Description
The LPN will assist the provider throughout the clinic with various duties to ensure smooth operations and patient care.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain patient charts, including insurance, registration, correspondence, laboratory, and radiology reports.Track and request patient records, slides, and films; document as necessary in the charts.Schedule and coordinate appointments, scans, and tests; confirm appointments and notify appropriate departments of daily and weekly patient schedules.Receive incoming calls to assist patients, physicians, and others with patient-related matters.Relay diagnostic test results to patients per physician's discretion and conduct follow-up phone calls to patients with problems and 'no-shows'.Perform BP, TPR, and weight on each patient and alert the physician of abnormalities.Room patients and record medical history on each patient prior to being seen by the physician.Maintain medical supplies in each exam room and office supplies in the clerical area.Handle pre-certification and referrals (experience required).Communicate with home health and infusion clinics as needed.Essential Skills1+ year's of experience working as an LPNExperience with electronic medical records (EMR).State of TN LPN License.Phlebotomy
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
