LPN/CMA/MA | Northway Clinic

Join CentraCare Northway Clinic and a Licensed Practical Nurse.  The LPN will assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently which includes rooming patients, overseeing and coordinating preventative care services and community resources for patients and their families to achieve good health, help patients achieve optimal health by planning patients care using evidenced based guidelines for care, (i.e., Hgb A1C or immunizations as appropriate) or gathering information pertinent to the patients care from other sources. This clinic features Integrated Behavioral Health Services which gives patient the opportunity to access these services in a family practice setting. 

Schedule: 

Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. No evenings, weekends, or holidays

Pay and Benefits:

Licensed Practical Nurse:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.

Certified Medical Assistant:

Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.  Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) with one of the following:  Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date. American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) American Medical Technologists (AMT) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) National Healthcareer Association (NHA) National Association for Health Professionals, Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) Nationally Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA)

Medical Assistant:

Additional Requirements:

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy. Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

Hiring Bonus requirements: Must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud, MN and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
