LPN - Endocrinology Office - Part Time 32 Hours

Job Summary:
Reporting to the physician and the practice manager, responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care for patients. Ensure nursing care is provided in accordance with the stated philosophy and standards established by the Nursing Service Department, regulatory agencies and professional organizations. Accountable for the safety of nursing care they deliver or supervise. Responsible to the patient and the family or significant others for the quality of direct and indirect nursing care delivered.
Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of professional accredited nursing school required.

Experience: Previous Endocrinology experience helpful

Licensure and/or Certification: Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts required.
BLS healthcare provider required.

Skills: 
Knowledge of the Electronic Medical Record (GE Centricity)
Ability to maintain confidential information
Strong interpersonal communication skills on the phone and in person
Strong multitasking skills needed
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Computer skills required.
Ability to maintain confidential information.
