FlexStaff is looking for an LPN for an Assisted Living facility to work for one of our external clients, a multi-service certified home care organization for their assisted living in Surfside, Queens, NY.

This is a permanent, full-time job. Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:30am - 5pm

In this role you will be responsible for administering skilled nursing care to patients in the facility.

An ideal candidate would have NYS LPN License and at least 1-2 Years of clinical experience.

Knowledge of State and Federal regulations as it pertains to Certified Home Health Agency required.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Taking and monitoring patient vital signs. Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing. Administering medication. Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members. Maintaining accurate patient records. Collecting specimen samples when needed  Taking an active part in patient care planning  Overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants and training  Preparing patients for transfers or discharge  Assisting in medical procedures  Managing emergency medical situations
