Summary:

As supervised and delegated by a registered nurse, provides direct resident care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care.Obtains and processes physician's orders in accordance with scope of practice.Monitors, documents, and communicates resident's status and reactions to interventions and reports findings to the physician as necessary.Delegates and oversees resident care and makes assignments to support staff.Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis.Assists residents with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Performs treatments and administers medications in accordance with established policies and procedures.
