24Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time LPN for our 20-bed General Medical Unit. This is your opportunity to work with in the full scope of your LPN license on a unit that cares for a little bit of everything from short stay observations patients to complex care for extended care patients.
What you will do:
Work 48 hours every two week= 0.6 FTEWork 8 hour shifts rotating day (6:30am – 3pm) and pm’s (2:30pm – 11pm) shifts; every other weekend and holidayLPN’s work top of scope and provide care by doing things such as pass medication, assessments, hang IV fluids, piggyback medications, provide wound care and reinforce patient education. Partner with a team of RN’s, CNA’s, social workers, dietitians, respiratory therapy, and physical therapy.What you will get:
