The Terrace at Glen Eddy is a NYS licensed enriched housing community for seniors. The Terrace offers our residents the assurance of personalized care in a warm, friendly atmosphere designed to meet their changing needs.

The LPN will be responsible for, but not limited to:
The nursing care of residents under the direction of the Nursing Director and Case Manager
Oversee and mentor a team of resident assistants
Pass medications to approximately 20 residents
Interact and take directions from community physicians
Foster at all times resident independence and freedom of choice
Completing all necessary paperwork and documentation in paper format
Education of families to make the most out of their visits with their loved ones

Minimum Requirements:
Valid NYS LPN license
1+ year of experience working in a direct patient care role handling med passes
Preferred Requirements:
1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills
1+ year experience as a supervisor or leader type role
Understanding of assisted living regulations
Comfort with handling paper medical records
Maintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilities
Communicate effectively in a fast pace work environment
Engage within a team setting
Strong leadership and mentorship of the Resident Assistant staff
Think, act and intervene independently in both routine and emergency situations
Passion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing field

Pay Range:$24.00 - $30.10

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
