We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a full time Quality Assurance (QA) LPN Nurse position in the Lake Charles area.
Job Description:
A Quality Assurance LPN/LVN is responsible for assuring quality control of all health services provided by the Agency and for reviewing documentation for compliance and appropriateness of care.
Qualifications: Must have an associate degree (A.A.), or equivalent from a two (2) year college. Must have at least one year’s experience in hospice, home health or a related field. Must have a current State LPN or LVN license. Must be able to speak and write effectively. Must work well with other disciplines to coordinate patient care. Must be able to prepare forms for pre and post payment audits. Must have a current State driver's license Experience in reviewing nurses’ notes for completeness, compliance with physicians’ orders, authorized services, regulations required Experience in reviewing admission packets required Experience required in reviewing all POC and re-certification for: accuracy, order updates, frequency updates, goal updates, medication profiles review, format and wording, diagnoses update, C.N.A. care plan Conducts one-on-one in-services for documentation problems as needed Effective written and verbal communication Ability to travel - must have reliable transportation Clean background and drug screen
