+ DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTION + The Licensed Practical Nurse supports the nursing process and functions under the direction of a Professional Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse must adhere to policy and procedure for Berkshire Medical Center clinical services. + POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.) + Experience: + Has a thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures. + One year of LPN experience required + Surgical procedure experience preferred. + Education and Training: + Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing. + License, Certification & Registration: + LPN - Licensed Practical Nurses + CPR + Other Requirements: + Demonstrates continuing education in accordance with State regulations. Assures compliance with unit-specific scope of practice. + Able to provide a high level of customer service to meet patient experience standards and expectations for the Family Birthplace.
