The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides for and assists in meeting the TCU transitional care unit residents’ physical, emotional and psycho-social needs while adhering to facility, state and federal guidelines for beautiful and vibrant skilled nursing care center in Wyoming, MN. Provides professional nursing cares and treatments Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff Maintains current observation and documentation of resident health status Required: MN LPN licensure AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice 0-1 years of experience Ability to use technology in the form of computers, hand held devices, cell phones, and fax machines Preferred: Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree 1-3 years of experience MS Office, Excel, and Word Point Click Care knowledge
