Job Title: LPN Nurse

Job Description

• Prescribe medication dosages, routes, and frequencies based on patient characteristics such as age and gender at the order of a Physician.

• Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines at the order of a Physician.

• Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized by a Physician.

• Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies as directed by a Physician.

• Recommend interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks as directed by a Physician.

• Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances.

This is a fully on-site position in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Work Environment

Working in a Medical Office environment.

M,T,F 8:30am-5:00pm and Thurs 9:30AM-6:00pm
