Job Title: LPN NurseJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will be responsible for greeting and preparing patients for provider examinations and treatments, administering prescribed medications, and maintaining equipment according to nursing standards. This role involves significant patient and family teaching to ensure desired patient outcomes are achieved.
Responsibilities
+ Greet and prepare patients for provider examinations and treatments.
+ Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards.
+ Properly maintain equipment before and after procedures.
+ Engage in patient and family teaching to achieve the desired patient outcome.
Essential Skills
+ LPN Certification
+ IV Certified or IV Therapy
+ Basic Life Support (BLS)
+ Experience with EMR systems
+ Experience in triage and patient care
+ Minimum requirement of graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or military equivalent
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a physician's clinic or healthcare setting
+ Strong skills in family care and patient education
Work Environment
This position involves working in multiple specialties within a healthcare setting. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with 8-hour shifts during the day. The dress code adheres to professional healthcare attire. The facility provides opportunities for further education with tuition support and offers a sign-on bonus, payable in two parts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.60 - $33.02
