Job Title: LPN Nurse - Florham Park

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LPN Nurse to join our Breast Care and Surgery Center team in Florham Park. You will work closely with our surgeons, managing the nurse visit schedule, performing various medical procedures, and providing exceptional patient care. This role offers extensive hands-on surgical experience and the opportunity to work with a significant number of breast oncology and breast cancer patients.

ResponsibilitiesManage the nurse visit schedule.Perform suture removal, wound care, and dressing changes.Assist surgeons with ultrasound and biopsy procedures.Gain extensive hands-on surgical experience in the office.Help manage patients in the office alongside the MAs.Conduct triage and handle nurse buckets.Answer post-op questions and make post-op calls.Assist with radiology biopsies.Work within both the office and radiology departments.Perform stereotactic or mammogram-guided biopsies.Support the surgeon in various tasks.Run patients and assist with procedures 2 ½ days during the week.Spend the other 2 ½ days on triage, buckets, and administrative tasks.Work with a significant number of breast oncology and breast cancer patients.Manage approximately 30 patients a day.Collaborate with one other nurse and three MAs in Florham Park.Essential SkillsPatient careEMR proficiencyCompletion of a Vocational/Technical School/Diploma Program (required)Associate's degree (preferred)NJ State LPN Nursing LicenseActive BLS certification

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $39.00
