Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated LPN Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing injections for doctors, assisting patients, and managing various clinical tasks. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and hardworking individual who is flexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare injections for doctors (do not administer)Assist and run with patientsMeet with surgical patients to take their history and physicalReview medications with patientsComplete booking sheet entriesProvide patients with lab sheets after completionDiscuss surgical procedures with patientsHandle clinical phone callsUtilize critical thinking skillsContact doctors for assistanceSubmit patient cases to doctorsManage buckets (inboxes in Athena) for clinical questions and medication refillsHandle surgical specialty tasksPrepare chartsFill out paper prescriptions for patients (name and label)Print the last chart note for patientsEssential SkillsPatient care experienceExperience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)Vocational / Technical School / Diploma Program requiredAssociates degree preferredNJ State LPN Nursing LicenseActive BLS certification1+ years of experienceAdditional Skills & QualificationsSurgery experience is a plusOutpatient experience is a plus, especially in neurologyDynamic, positive, motivated, and hardworkingFlexible with no schedule restrictionsWilling to get hands dirty and work on the floorExperience working in a fast-paced settingWork Environment
The candidate will alternate between the Morristown and Parsippany locations. Mileage reimbursement is not provided until they become permanent employees. Starting in June, the Parsippany office will close, and work will be exclusively in Morristown. The consistent 40-hour work week includes shifts on Monday to Friday, with one Saturday a month. The schedule may vary slightly, and it is provided on a monthly basis. Working in an outpatient setting offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and significant growth opportunities within the organization.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $39.00
