Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced nurses to join our team in New Rochelle, New York. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 months of experience as an RN or LPN and hold a valid NYS LPN or RN license. This role involves planning, directing, coordinating, delegating, and evaluating the activities of all nursing personnel within the assigned area, conducting daily rounds, and facilitating conferences with unit staff to review specific patient care and recent policy changes.
Responsibilities:
Endorse, interpret, and enforce the objectives and procedures of the facility and the Nursing Department.Plan, direct, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate the activities of all nursing personnel within the assigned area.Conduct daily rounds.Facilitate daily conferences with unit staff to review specific patient care and communicate recent policy and procedure changes.Extend courtesy to all unit visitors and assist them in contributing to the emotional needs of all patients.Essential Skills:
Experience as an RN or LPN in Short Term Rehab or a hospital settingValid NYS LPN or RN license.Strong oral and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.3 months experience supervising support staff.3 months experience working with the elderly population.Commitment to working desired shifts and every other weekend.Work Environment: This is a fully on-site position in New Rochelle, New York. We offer Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem openings with morning, evening, and night shifts, including alternating weekends.
