Documentation of all patient care is requiredPrepare patient by collecting and sharing data; blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, height/weight, Date of LMP, general history and chief complaint and identifies need for medication refills.Collection of JCAHO required data elements, such as domestic violence, pain, and forms completion.Assists and/or prepares patients for surgical procedures, tests, treatments and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.Assists the health care provider in determining current and potential needs and /or problems with the patientDocument all patient assessment elements obtained. participates in the development, implementation, on-going evaluation and revision of nursing proceduresAssists in the evaluation of supplies, equipment, and facilities
