Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center in Cohoes, NY has an opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to further their nursing skills as a leader and develop strong bonds with their residents and coworkers! The team is looking for a LPN to work Part- time days (two 12hr shifts per week) and are willing to help train those looking to change direction in their nursing career!
Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center is a memory care community complete with 52 private and semi-private rooms providing comfortable, secure living in an environment designed for safety and independence. Programs serve individuals with early to mid-stage memory impairment — those with difficulties that require watchfulness and a supportive environment, but who do not need nursing home care. The center is thoughtfully designed and services are tailored for individuals with memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias.

The nursing care of residents under the direction of the Nursing DirectorOversee a team of resident assistantsPass medications to approximately 26 residentsEducation of families on how to help care for their loved ones with memory loss and how to get the most success in their visitsMinimum Requirements:
Valid NYS LPN licensePreferred Requirements:
1+ year of experience as a LPN, but willing to help train the right candidate to further their skills1+ year working in memory care in a direct care position highly desiredMaintain the highest level of customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilitiesCommunicate effectively in a fast pace work environmentEngage within a team settingStrong leadership and mentorship of the Resident Assistant staffPassion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing fieldPay Range: $24.00 - $30.10
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
