**What You'll Do:**
As an LPN Admissions Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the admission process, utilizing your nursing expertise to assess, plan, and coordinate the transition of residents into our facility. Your compassionate care will ensure a smooth and comfortable entry for those in need of our services.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for potential residents
+ Collaborate with healthcare teams to review medical histories and care needs
+ Assist in developing individualized care plans for new admissions
+ Coordinate and communicate care plans with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
+ Educate residents and families about facility services, procedures, and care expectations Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during the admission process

**What You'll Bring:**
**Qualifications of an Admissions Nurse include:**
+ Valid Maine state LPN/RN nursing license
+ Experience in Long-Term Care setting preferred
+ Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
+ Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
+ Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
