Responsibilities:
Assists in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for patients and their families, ensuring individualized and holistic care approaches.
Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information, considering specific age-related needs, to tailor care plans for diverse patient populations.
Conducts interviews with patients to address healthcare concerns, providing counseling and utilizing available resources to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Administers medications and vaccines as ordered by the attending physician, staying current with immunization protocols, flu vaccines, and allergy injection requirements.
Takes responsibility for sterilizing office equipment and maintaining an inventory of supplies, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to health and safety standards.
Performs laboratory duties, ensuring compliance with OSHA and CLIA regulations, maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
Identifies and communicates patients’ educational needs to the physician, providing targeted teaching in these areas upon request to improve patient understanding and outcomes.
Assists physicians during patient examinations and specialized procedures, demonstrating competence through ongoing education and maintaining necessary documentation to ensure professional growth.
