Responsibilities:

Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients and their families, ensuring personalized attention to age-specific needs. Effectively gathers and interprets patient information, conducting interviews to address healthcare concerns and provide counseling with available resources. Administers prescribed medications, vaccines, and allergy injections, staying informed on immunization updates and changes in flu vaccine guidelines. Responsible for sterilizing office equipment and maintaining accurate records of inventory, ensuring timely ordering of stock supplies. Performs laboratory duties in compliance with OSHA and CLIA standards, ensuring patient safety and regulatory adherence. Identifies educational needs of patients and communicates these to the physician, providing relevant teaching as requested. Assists physicians during patient exams and performs specialized procedures, contributing to efficient and effective care. Maintains professional competence through continuous education, actively participating in relevant learning experiences and documenting progress.
