Adecco is assisting a local electronic manufacturing client in GRASS VALLEY, CA in their search for a Manufacturing Associate to join their team as a long term, temporary associate with good work ethic, will be considered to hire full time/perm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS for the Manufacturing Associate:
1. Accurately pull components as required by Bill of Materials for various assemblies.
2. Package completed kits for shipment.
3. Accurately put away incoming components in designated locations on the stockroom shelves.
4. Accurately put away incoming kits returned by vendors in designated locations.
5. Perform inventory cycle counts in a timely and accurate manner.
6. Practice proper safety procedures.
7. Perform additional tasks as assigned.
MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT USED
Computer, Copier, Hand Tools,
E-Mail, Component Weigh Scale, General Office Supplies, Telephone, Heat Sealer, Step Ladder.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS of the Manufacturing Associate:
Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 5% of the time is spent seated working at a desk. Balance of time (approximately 95%) is spent standing or moving around work areas.
Moving: Ability to transport up to fifty (50) lbs. of products or equipment.
Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers and outside agencies, by telephone and in person.
Vision: Ability to interpret packing shipments and received items.
Reaching/Handling: Good manual dexterity is necessary for computer keyboard use and for retrieving and working with appropriate paperwork, equipment and supplies.
PROFICIENCIES for the Manufacturing Associate:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Basic computer skills.
3. Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
4. Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.
5. Willingness to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
6. Possess a work ethic that includes neatness, punctuality, and accuracy.
7. Willingness to adhere to company policies and support management decisions and goals in a positive and professional manner.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in a shipping/warehouse environment

**Pay Details:** $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
